The U.S. bishops have inaugurated a 3-year National Eucharistic Revival. There are numerous connections to be made between the sacrament of marriage, the domestic church, and the Eucharist.
To shine a light on these connections, a free online resource for married couples in the Diocese of Salt Lake City will be available through December 2024 that will transform your marriage through the power of the Eucharist.
The Banquet of Love began as a weekend retreat workbook, and has been converted into online sessions. Couples or groups of couples can register online to get access to these online classes. Each video will be approximately 15-20mins. long and will be accompanied by downloadable Reflection Questions.
It is recommended that groups gather at their parish or in homes to complete the sessions together with a facilitator, as well as to share in fellowship.

“What the Otrembas offer in this incredible work is nothing less than a monumental
paradigm shift for marriage enrichment experienced through the Divine Liturgy, every
aspect of the liturgy, and Jesus embraced in the Most Holy Eucharist. To accept their
offer is to have one’s spiritual eyes wide open at every Mass, every marital encounter,
and to be transformed into His beloved likeness.”
—Jim and Joy Pinto, Co-Hosts of EWTN’s At Home with Jim and Joy
“Their [the Otrembas’] practical suggestions, combined with solid Catholic
teaching, help couples to realize the spiritual connection between the Mass and their
marriage. You’ll never attend Mass again without thinking of how it does impact and
strengthen your marriage.”
—Veola Burchett, Retired Director, Family and Pro-life Office Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City, UT
“Using their gifts and personal journey, they skillfully and prayerfully tied the
sacramentality of marriage to the Eucharist. Every married couple could benefit
from this practical, skills-based material; no matter if you are newlyweds or married
45 plus years.”
—Deacon Tom Lang, Director, Office of the Permanent Diaconate Archdiocese of Dubuque, IA
“Best workshop I have been to.”
—Deacon participant, married 50 years
“In only 7 hours, you have helped us a thousand times more than the four marriage
counseling meetings we went to! Your presence here today is a gift from God.
I deeply thank you for giving us tools to strengthen and improve our marriage.
I have prayed for help and I know that you are part of His answer.”
—Participant, married 5 years
